Cavalier you rode my friendUpon the trust given by grace
Pride stood in the background
The love in your heart mine
In one hand waved a Holy sword
Promising what had been ordained
We drank the cup of heaven's rain
The passion in your eyes met mine
On my navy blue dress
A signature placed husband and wife

Where hope came to find the blessed
On my navy blue dress
Given by an angel in pearls of white
On my navy blue dress
Our first picnic shared given new wine
Cavalier you rode my friend
Upon the trust given by grace
Pride stood in the background

Steadfast the power of forgiveness
Whispered with a kiss that flowed
From the first time we held hands
Haste in your flight, early to the altar
On my navy blue dress
After the wedding my dear
Removed my virgin white
Put on my navy blue dress

Conceived to birthed a son
