Learning on the job called life

The Intern

Life has taught me to doubt
To see "in" as "out"
Until otherwise proven
In the Oven of time

Life has taught me to fear
To leap like a Deer
Pursued by a Cheetah
Driven by hunger

Life has taught me to ...
You may fill in the gap

But I choose what to learn
From all life has to teach

How important it is to choose what to learn out of life. I like the way you put this. Life throws so many unexpected turns and twists, and we learn from all of it, of course, but to choose what to learn is the growing that we do. Nice one.
