The sad night this

The sadness of tonight
wears me as a mountain

high and strong

looking further, past by my being

in to the universe

What songs I hear,
The Mozart's Requiem

what blood I spill
from veins outed

and soon dry

My face is covered with tears
also they soon will dry

What poetry I read
between the lines of heartache and despair

like a spoon of truth and soup

eaten dry

The sadness of this night
is like the moon alone
stealing light from the sun
not can it be strong itself

I'm rambling
running

looking for that

that is not here
not now

sunk like an old ship
in a storm to much
for it's sail

I'm done in

The feelings, the sadness in this poem takes my breath away. It's palpable and deep ... expressed directly from the heart.

Such sadness and a weight of the world come through with your words here... it grabs the heart and makes one wish for better times for the one suffering so... much emotions, and adeptly expressed for the reader to feel it all.
