LOVE TAKES COURAGE

Cold and wet from the grey sky
Or is it from the mist about me
To sing at a time like this baby
Only lets me know I'm not alone

Thoughts running wild on the verge
A shot of electricty mincing my words
Seeing ain't believing passion disturbed
Doing what frightens the soul takes nerve

Love takes courage
And the question remains
How much can the heart stand
A single engine hopes to land

Love takes courage
When they seem disinterested
It's just a riddle waiting to be solved
Love takes courage

Listened to the radio playing house
Went to the grocery store for spice
Met friendship in the stationary aisle
Intrigue lead me towards hot and heavy

Knowing right from wrong meant nothing
I lived bleeding to death on a Sunday night
The pain of walking the right path blinding
Those who have suffered need not explain

Love takes courage
And the question remains
Why are some of us held in cages
Kept in a solo pattern for who knows

Love takes courage
Just as the moon is about to wean
Roses bloom and the sun a true blue
Love takes courage

Courage
Courage
Courage
Strength
Courage
Courage
Courage

I like this because it's so true. Love takes about as much courage and strength as anything else I can think of. This is good. :-)
