Yeah yeah yeah

Rock-Pop-Jazz and all
what a smile on this world

I hear tunes from rascals like the MC-5
turn backwards to Berry, name: Chuck
then I hear the glitter from Diana Ross,
and take that fundamental funk from
James Brown:
It is a story to tell:

Music from back from hell;

You hear the pioneers
lovers of great tunes,
what about heaven on earth,
like the Rhythms 'n Blues

I hear Janis Joplin in here somewhat ready to take center stage:
as I do see the Rolling Stones preparing to eat cornbread, chew it, and befriend

Johnny Be Goode

Play it like the Ramones in the States
at CBGB's with Blondie and the rest

that composition of new brains
with old gear

Not much further, Sonic Youth, after Patti Smith

and then came Nirvana
to bring it up a notch:

Oasis, Blur, rage against the Machine:

and then we are at the 2001:

the hip-hop wave, with Jay z, Snoop and Eminem

the waters are not clear anymore,
but wait in silence for the new breed,

my own.

These are all the great sounds of the ages--ageless. You make me smile with the good feelings of the memories those songs bring. Now, we wait for the new wave ... I enjoyed reading this.
