[friend of mine is dealing with her parents alzheimers]

Grief's Madness

In the nebulous night,

the moon's pearly smirch
emblazing with shine,
becomes pallid and plain
as a dimmed starflame
goes drab and ashen.
Diffused in sapphire sadness,
the memories vanish
within the cloud's rain
cast upon grief's madness.

I've been there with my mother, this is eloquent, honest and so true.

So difficult to witness this transformation. It's hard to put into words, you've done it well.

I've missed your poems.

I love the way you 've mastered language! It is indeed a difficult situation. A lovely poem, will you friend get to read your poem? Feel perhaps understood or do you have a part II in mind?
