Snow Falls

Day and night
I listen
for the sound
of your voice
as snow falls
and covers all living
with its white silence.

I am drawn ever closer
to the world of the shadows
where they pretend
to love me,
offer me the solace
I so desperately need.

And just as you start to fade
from my memories
I hear you calling me
warm and clear
from beyond the void
as snow falls
and covers the depths of my heart
with its white silence.

Extremely good. There is always the voice from the past that covers us in sorrowful snow. A marriage of nature and grief.

A lovely calming read though sad. The use of "white silence" is perfect, I feel it.

Atmospheric, dreamy, and gentle--like falling snow. Lovely poem.
