happy kitty, dead kitty

i passed a kitty on the sidewalk today,
looking rather relaxed,
laid back in the sun
in an awkward stare

hello, happy kitty!
let me pet you,
rubbed your furry stomach

it looks like you have some friends,
they're making their way
to your brain,
all in your mouth
and eyes

maybe i was molested as a child,
i don't know,
i can't remember shit
from my past
(some things, you just don't want to remember)

"i think it's time to move on now"

my friends tell me
i should cut back on the booze,
but i just laugh
as i chug
the last half of the bottle,
spilling about half of it on myself
as i choke in my laughter

"i think i'm dying"

oh god, is it dawn already?

Heavy stuff. But very good. You will have to be careful of the booze. Because you are spilling too much.

This is about as gritty as it gets. Powerful stuff.i like your economy of language. Well written.
