Beyond The World

You were the one beyond the world
Whom I loved with Love undying
Inside my eyes behind the curled
Waves of sky where dreams were flying

Tattooing those xx's and oo's upon my hopeful heart
Was an art sublime at which you excelled,
It grew so full like the ;parking lot at a Walmart
"Someone needs to move their car," checkout yelled,

"Paper or plastic, oh what the hell
We ain't so drastic, like who can tell?"

Now here we are and there you go
It's just like that, is it not so?

Yet, every week when supp;lies run low
When the stores of rice and lentils dwindle
Time to rise up from your silken pillow
Cinderella blood upon the spindle

Time to run time to track
Again out there an dback
To back we harmonize
Shall I ever realize

Waves of sky where dreams were flying
Inside my eyes beyond the curled
Whom I loved with Love undying
You were the one beyond the world

A wistful write from M. Whethers. We at BirdBrains are drawn to this being beyond the world who communicates via patterns, though we like also the Walmart simile and the rice and lentils. The wordplay between first and final verses is intriguing too.
Applause!

Very beautiful. The Walmart reference is inspired :)
