It's gone

No two clouds are the same
In the blink of an eye
It's gone
Replaced by another unique formation
High in the sky it floats
A blue background that never changes
The clouds cast shadows like dark thoughts
Over a pristine shore
Where pebbles dance and sing in the ebb tide
A song older than time
Another storm cloud looms
Looks down onto galloping white horses
The white cliffs snarl, slip and crash
Into the murky deep waves
No two waves are the same
In the blink of an eye
It's gone
Replaced by another unique formation

Very good. The uniqueness of nature in the moment. Brilliant scenes there and gone. Nice piece.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, Mick. The only constant is change. And so our lives. You've captured the thought wonderfully.
