Everything You Know

you know everything you know
how to dig that row
after row after row
nothing much I may tell you
know everything you know,
once in a mystic moment
in a window by the sky blue sea so long ago
once in my arms I held you my heartbeats spelled you
life to life breath to breath light to light night to night death to death
once in my soul held you in a window long ago
know everything you know
nothing much I may tell you
after row after row
how to dig that row
you know everything you know . . .

I see this as the old finally handing over things to the young. Forgive me if I am wrong. Very nicely written with language that emphasizes the situation. Well done.

Made me feel a little sad, must admit.... but it's written beautifully, in a way that makes one soak in the words and feel them... like a situation of being besotted by someone that holds the heart without an irrevocable kind of hold, but that sadly, they don't reciprocate the feeling... I may be completely way off mark in my impression, but that's what came to me with this lovely worded post :)
