I OUTGREW MY ROOTS.

I outgrew my roots.

I lost the connection
and the branches broke.

Follow my bloody trails
to this place where I live.

To this place where dreams
won't dare to come true.

Unconnected to the past,
so the present lies blurred.

But the roots keep growing
under the bed where I lie.

Unconnected, they surround me,
arms of blood, they despise me.

I'm lost in this forest of roots.
I'm tied down to this bed.

I'm lost in this blur of truths.
I'll drown in this blood-shed red.

Rik The PoetBay support member heart!
That feeling of detachment from something that should be there but isn't. Reached out to far and fell off the cliff and now can't get back. Hits home this one.

"To this place where dreams
won't dare to come true."

My dear Dan,
Every time I read you,
You take my breath away!
You hide so much anguish,
So much pain in you, that
Mine own seems so insignificant,
Just pales in front of you!
May God Bless you!

((((hugs to stop those roots from spreading any further)))))
love, xxx, Zoya
