a quick look at google suggests this: approximately 800 million people (adults and children together) go without enough food, or about 13.5 percent of the world population. this is actually down 200 million from the 90's. approximately one out of nine people in the world go to "bed" hungry. in america, where i live, approximately 15 million children do not have a "secure source" of food.

whatever the numbers may be, "get over yourself" is always good advice. i don't know about the "fuck" part, that seems optional.

i've never gone to bed hungry in my life, but my life has gone to "shit" at times. it is not an irreversible condition.
