When we think of those who passed on bye
Come to mind - not as ghosts
For those who passed on - we loved - they
Loved us
They are of sweet memory's
To remember them - to smile - laugh - with joy
Not of sades
The love given - remains - a gift - can not perish
Comforts us - all time

I agree with your thoughts. Of course we miss them and their absence can make us sad. I remember the first funeral I attended in the US besides my mother's. She was an older aunt and I was surprised at how everyone was filled with stories of memories of her that made us laugh and remember how much we loved her and how much we enjoyed her.
