This poem is part of a novel I'm writing titled: The Poetree of Black & White Sheep

The Poet's-Try Cry

Languishing in logistics
illogical anguish you could hear
the poet's-try cry sounding
like Sounder in the stead; the shed
of deeds, of seeds
of "here, Yeller. Come back, Yeller"
Anguishing to hear the poet's-try cry.

Language: the 'guage of age,
course of disadvantages
set to two then to grains,
pains grown you could hear
the poet's-try cry in her "my, oh my"
sighs; she sees proof on
her thighs scarred, marred
Anguishing to hear the poet's-try cry.

What colours are America's sons
are The Poet's-Try Cries
Luxuries, of ease
lodging anguish in the flight
of a season's hope of complexities
bye a rope, buy a not, by a stay away?

What colours are America's daughters
are The Poet's-Try Cries
Luxuries, of over ease
lodging the loggers mysteries
of a season's hope of complexities
bye a rope, buy a not, by a stay away?

"That's a good play on words"
she heard The Poet's-Try Cry
You could hear the laughter
after, sides splitting in the spitting
on her dreams
suite was the hospitality
bruised
she sank
Orange rose
to meet
the poet's-try cry:
you are rules broken bought & buy'ed
her heart's love:

1."Gullible! Public record!"
Anguishing to hear the poet's-try cry.
2."You've got a good daughter."
Anguishing to hear the poet's-try cry.
3."It's best if I don't hear too much."
Anguishing to hear the poet's-try cry.

In another year, shed The Poet's-Try Cry
Inflated afflictions dulled to a

cranberry cascade charade

course along the curve of a tree's spine
branched like a library
it is lavender leaves
the colours of innocence
spread throughout the nation
in steeds, in mares, in colt's, in dares
you could hear The Poet's-Try Cry

There are vine's in our yards!
There is love in our veins!
There are flowers of power!
We are The Poet's Try Cries
In our poet's trees!
you could hear the poet cry.

What a wonderful imagination you have. I am afraid a lot of it went over my head but it was nice to read and the references were very clever.

i like this for reasons too numerous to list here, but overall i find it pleasing to wander around in your thoughts, and i appreciate the quality of the writing.

that sounds too formal, i think this rocks.
