slumlord

"Cheap"

She moved out of the apartment
without paying rent or giving the landlord
notice.
She had asked him to repair the bathtub
and the sink in the bathroom.
He promised her he would, but
he never did!
She complained about the loud
noises coming from one of the other
apartment next to the one she was renting.
He said he would check into it, but he
never did!
Roaches were entering her apartment
from one of the other apartments.
She asked him if he would mind
exterminating the whole apartment
complex or find out what apartment
these dirty cockroaches were coming
from and ask the occupants to clean
up or move out!
Again he promised he would but he
he never did!
The landlord came to collect his rent,
found a note upon the door, it read,
"A Penny For Your Thoughts"
