insidiously swept

insidiously swept by a silent tide
tomorrow rolls with broken bells
tolling for no one dark night

seriously bound and gagged a wound
a knot to be swallowed with rain
and guiltless carnage by the butcher

there is an epitaph no diploma
weariness will corrode in time
there will be many ceremonies

take good care of the children
burning the war of the anonymous
hands not will do what we predict

no more zebra crossing winking lost
stale memory warfare is dust is not
like I you in a universal flash gone

pity pity soldier boy dying
the crowd that stood and stared
it will pass no pain

I always enjoy your poems, and yes this is sad. Imagine how many generations have mourned. We don't like to admit it, but we are a warrior culture, I mean we of this planet.

i notice a kind of loneliness in all your poems, i can't tell you where it comes from but yes, the way you write is very different from all i have read on this site so far... maybe it comes from that

The way you weave your words together always impresses me. A very sad poem written with so much skill.
