Days go drifting by like the leaves in the autumn wind.Enjoy them while they are here, they won't be back again.
Friends will come, friends will go. Only a few will last.
Keep reaching for the future and try to hang on to the past.
The world keeps on spinning,
Time just slips away.
Today is the tomorrow
We looked for yesterday.
So get your act together,
Keep your ducks in a row.
Where does all the time go?
Goodness only knows.
Too many people are caught up in the grind.
They find out much too late all the joys they left behind.
Keeping up with the Jones' will only hold you back.
Working hard makin' a livin' when it's a life they lack.
