The Charnel House is Burning

The Charnel House is burning
Smoke chokes the skeletal remains
The rats are gnawing, scurrying out
foaming mouths in fear
Their many panicked feet scratch bones
blackened, ashened, cracking bones
and scatter skulls grinning at the futile,
riotous rot

The Charnel House is burning
Fire higher than suns can reach
Melting Stone, metal and flesh
peeling prisons away
Their many memories licked by flame
painful, scathing, purging flame
And crumble walls shaking at the raging,
Vengeful heat

The Charnel House is burning
Flame came to tame the ice
With declaration of revenge
Terrible in tempest

very well written. It carried the feeling of the art. I did not really like the work itself that much.
