Date with Fate

Could we ever
Cry enough tears
To right such a wrong
How long...
How many years
To reach peace
And how many strong
Do we need to be
To end this

How many more
Before the law is wielded
As a weapon of truth and justice?
How many times
Will these crimes go unpunished
How many cold dead eyes must we look into
Until finally we realise
We must share a common fate
And go to ground

Where Hellhounds wait.

These questions are never answered. The next generation simply have other excuses to keep them unanswered.

The search for justice is never ending. But we are Cain's children. Predators whose natural instinct is violence. Yet we find more people of peace. Is there hope?
