Para ti'.
After reading the google translation, I decided I had to write my own. :)
Thank you brave souls for trying it.

Hagamos Un Trato (with added translation)

Hagamos Un Trato

Tu sabes
Que no importa lo que pase
Siempre puedes contar

No hasta dos
O hasta diez
Sino contar

Si alguna ves
me miras en los ojos
y ahi’ ves
una razga de amor

Reconoce que ahi’ siempre vives
Y no alertes tus fusiles
Ni pienses que delirio

A pesar de lo que veas
O tal vez
porque existe.

Pero, compañero
Tu puedes contar

Hagamos un trato:
Yo quisiera contar

Es tan lindo
Saber que tu existes
Que me hiciste feliz en la vida

Y cuando digo esto
Quiero decir contar
Aunque sea hasta dos
Aunque sea hasta cinco

No tanto para que vengas
Presuroso a mi auxilio

Sino para saber
A ciencia cierta
Que nuestras almas
Nunca se separaron

Let's make a Deal

That no matter what happens
you can always count
on me

Not count to two
or up to ten
but count
with me

If once you look in my eyes
and there you see love
recognize that there you will always live
and that is no need to fire your guns
or think of me in delirium
despite what you see
or maybe because it exists.

But companion
you can count
on me
So, let's make a Deal:

I find it beautiful to know
That you exist
That you once made my life so happy

I would like to know
That I can count on you

And when I say this
I mean count
maybe up to two
or even up to five

Not so much to come
hurrying to my aid
but enough to know
for sure
that our souls
never parted.

It is a parting that never happens. An understanding that the person will always be in your life, near or far. A declaration that once loved the impression is permanent and exists with or without the acquiesce of fate. And it is beautiful.

Muchas gracias for the translation. Google's good for getting at the gist of things, but a poem has nuances and subtleties that only a bilingual interpreter can express. Enjoyed the poem the first time--and even better the second time :)

I like this, Ashe. I could be wrong, but it sounds like two people going their separate ways on good terms.

I read the google translation, too, and I have a little Spanish from school days, but I know that it takes more than that to hear the poetry of your words. Still, by reading aloud, I think it comes through.

There are many poems coming from the heart on poetbay. Certainly this is one of them.

Google translates this as "Let's Make a Deal.'' Would you agree with that translation? Most of the rest of it I can make out with my baby-Spanish. Sounds like a pledge to always be there for this person when that person needs you. Enjoyed reading this.
