2011-07-26 Sweet & sad. Explains well how one can still love & hurt the same person because it's "comfortable" that way. Very good!

Just Like A Diamond

2011-07-26 Had to stop sobbing before I could write this. This poem is how I was with the Love of my Life, who died 22 years ago. This reminds me that I need to remember our joy, not the tragedy of losing him. Thank you, Elise!

2011-07-26 Are you sure that you're not ME? Sounds like we share the same heart, & that's not always a fun place to be, for sure. I've lived this poem for most of my Life!

The Betrayal

2011-07-26 You share your heartbreak with us so explicity that memories of our own encounters flood our hearts & minds. We immediately commiserate with you, & make us want to hug you.

2011-07-26 Forced me to breathe more slowly & deeply, as if I'd taken this inspiring trip with you. Totally entrancing!

The Girl From The Black Forrest

2011-07-26 Magical! Drew me in, wanting to explore this forest more deeply, & the last 2 lines felt like a cold spirit stroked the back of my neck. Lovely!

The Boy I Never Knew

2011-07-26 I can just feel how numb & resigned you were when you wrote this. Simply stated, yet communicating such deep agony. I can't agree with Wonder Woman's optimism, though others' cheer has always been beneficial to me. Sadly, Life just isn't always kind to us, & from those depths come our greatest lessons - & strangely, our best poems.

2011-07-26 Dark, creepy & painfully beautiful - & so true! I FELT this one!
