Begins Somewhere

Every end begins somewhere
Perhaps not as thought to be
For every friend that is not there
Despite protesting loudly
But soft;
Her steps like summers raindrops falling
Fell so far, too far to ever find away again
The rain is in her song, you hear the sirens calling
Storms that lull the mind to sleep
Rest and weep away the tears share
For every friend that is not there
Perhaps not, as thought to be
Every end begins somewhere . . .
