Heaven Long Ago

The Summer night shone like a light lit in Heaven long ago
With the smoke of ages in her bones she danced a slow dance all alone
A court of fireflies in her hair softly glowing
Light falling everywhere like it was snowing
Dreams, myths legends known and unknown who may say just what is so
Impossible to explain the face within the ghost that walks inside the rain
Lost and yet not lost composed a painful smile and rose
Suppose the Light is growing while no one ever knows,

Light falling everywhere like it was snowing
A court of fireflies in her hair softly glowing
With the smoke of ages in her bones she danced a slow dance all alone
The Summer night shone like a light lit in Heaven long ago . .

Oh my god the rhythm in this poem is just fucking wonderful like Chopin in verse oh my god the assonance

And such rich texture I have no idea what's happening but I want to know more this I feel is a poem I'll come back to owe and over again. Bookmarked!
