LONELINESS
Crumpled bed sheetheaves a sigh.
Pale Moon peeps in
through my window,
Moon beam searches
pitch-black walls.
Dry autumnal leaves
crackle in the courtyard.
Weary rose buds
hang their heads.
Sighs incessant rise
in my bosom,
Drown with the
dismal night...
Fading North Star
high in the sky
feebly throws its light....
All these ancient soul mates mine,
Conspire against me tonight,
Mock me,
at my lonely plight...
