IT DOES NOT SUIT ME by Ann Wood

IT DOES NOT SUIT ME
I have come to fly, not to laugh,
To feel that I live, to burn!
I've come to love - not to hate,
To have purpose and purpose to go!
In this world of teeth and nails,
To survive is art now ...
I'm in command - I've learned all the steps,
I was immune to everything dirty.
For disgusting thoughts, ugly feelings,
For those with hearts eaten ...
I locked myself and stopped running,
They tapped with stone faces.
I'm not alone, next to me are all clean,
Time-proven friends,
In good and evil did not leave me,
And I will scream it - I LOVE YOU!
