Perhaps The Light

Perhaps it was the light
Took my love away
I dream of her at night
With words, I cannot say

A table tilts to turn
Those notes where ink just runs
The stars appear to burn
Just like so many suns

We wheel about the skies
A carousel in luminous dress
Tomorrow's in her eyes
To shine within my nighttime unless
