Sister Sunset
Oh my dear Sister Sunset with your gray eyes fair as LightDo recall the way we met before our Day become Night
As the skies become the heavens, waves become the shore
Light another cigarette, close your eyes count to seven and pray tell me more,
Are your thoughts on the morning Sister Sunset with the birds?
Do you weave puzzles of the branches, living arteries of nerves
Born of Spirit, almost Human, Sister Sunset shall you speak
Of the Beauty that is hidden of my Heart which you must break
Like the Dawn will you come singing Summer Songs the longing Night ?
Oh my dear Sister Sunset with your gray eyes fair as Light * * *
