Worn Face

There's a face that she wears
When the light disappears
Into shadows where no one knows
A word she alone hears
In the Night with her tears
The following years when it snows

In the cold outside reflection breaks
Into pieces of Light like a thought charade
In some town in a voice that no one speaks
Of keeping a promise that was never made

The following years when it snows
In the Night with her tears
A word she alone hears
Into shadows where no one knows
When the light disappears
There's a face that she wears
