Gaze

In a robe of blue set with stars along the hem
She lives by herself on a distant rooftop
Some days feel her gaze like an eye no one sees

There are musical fades living trees grow in her heart
Memory ghosts behind shades where you freeze slowly apart
From now no how or then or why nor when

Words lost in their ways
Like an eye no one sees
She lives by herself on a distant rooftop
In a robe of blue set with stars along the hem
Some days feel her gaze . . .
