A Slant
Walking rounds in backwards circles a slantRepetitions vain choruses of cant
Quotidian violations of omission repeat
Coded indices of crimes complicit as blood
From the brooding broods of nothing good
Comes of these merrie go rounds treadmill sounds
That carry on perpetually only gradually
Finding all that is minding grinding to a lame halt
Rubbed in wounds like sad cartoons blinding bittersweet salt
Repetitions vain choruses of cant
Walking rounds in backwards circles a slant
