First Flurry

I remember

one year in East Boston

the first flurry came

on October 8th.

Flimsy thing

against the triple-deckers

and asphalt.

Queen Anne's lace

tossed into the path

of an eighteen-wheeler.

Thin coins of silver

flung by Judas

to the floor of the temple.

Sparks of ice

drifting through the smoke

of the city's forge.

A picturesque description of a flurry of snowfall. Nicely done!

I am intrigued. Can we have more please. I'd love to know the back story.
I'm just conjuring thought of suffragettes in front of horses.
