I appreciate the cliche aspect of this poems message, and it is a very neat little poem that makes One smile at reading. BUT, on a personal note, I beg to differ about desire and the ability experience it's fruition - even though I concede the energy levels decrease with advancing years. Ehem...I'm never too old to have fun though. :)
