Faceless

A faceless crowd screams in my eyes
Someone lost inside tries to see through
A set of broken blinds composed of bone and air
Echoing ghosts of memory like a digital telephone
Creeping slowly down the winding stair
Come across pieces of crushed mirrors like hushed stars
Flailing nightly in a void one cannot avoid
Something stolen in a prison made to hold those without a key
An insidious now that dies
A faceless crowd screams in my eyes .
