'with her sheet metal memories of cannery row'
with regards to Bob.

Fever Illusion

Somewhere else she walks like a fever illusion
Colours of confusion draw me closer from afar
Parables paint the cities and the deserts of her heart and eyes
Lovers rise and descend the stairs living in an Escher print
Tears and sighs frozen static in pixelated trains
Pent up breath is held a while, for her smile when it rains
Is often sad inside it's said there's no place for you
To lay your hat beside her chair in a spell or the charms
She weaves in other words and otherwise written off
The books are read the pages plead for one sweet fusion
Somewhere else she walks like a fever illusion .
