he treats women like coffee
He treats women like coffee- asks them to lighten up and smile
Add creamer and sugar
Puts them under hot water to get a rise
Always on the go, feet restless
Hear his car keys jingle in his jean pocket
Travel cup after travel cup, messy dashboard
Content with the illusion of pleasure and a caffeine rush
Energized by curves, lust, and heart break
I told the last steaming cup she would soon run empty
She did eventually - then was shattered right there on the kitchen floor
- just so he wouldn't have to "clean up after her anymore"
The fragments of sharp glass were always not his problem
He wasn't afraid of a few dark coffee stains,
but sooner or later - he will burn his forked tongue
on a woman who doesn't care about how she tastes
