Winter Scape #3

When Time's on the fly
Like dancing dreams of snow
Dancing down along dirty city streets alone
Inside a delicate bubble of belief in something
Here and gone today finding yet another lost way
To walk back home again alone in silhouetted dark gray
Patterns of thought you fought back against a lonely lost cause
Dry eyes, do not cry
When Time's on the fly .
So sing inside and dance along the way
Where worlds are swirling evening deep into the gray
Go home sometimes to shut those eyes
Although the night we know, it never sleeps
Something keeps you close beside her
Who am I, not I
When Time's on the fly
