Through Her

Light was bleeding through her eyes
Watching another sunrise
Dark songs echoing in hollow souls
Empty repetitions suits in roles

(ghost like fingers dabbling in arcane magic
Fire turning through the pages of all this life
As though nothing could be sacred
No one left to save)

Simple tasks seemed amplified
Wearing masks so simplified
No one seeing, as she tries
Light was bleeding through her eyes
