Make me formal,
keep me light,
free of boast
and captious carp,
Syriac Ephrem,
saint of old.

Nearly normal,
barely bold,
I ask you, harp
of the Holy Ghost,
Syriac Ephrem,
help me write.

Like Joe I was sent to Wiki, and I wonder if there are any contemporary writers of faith who are leaving their marks on theology or philosophy such as St. Ephrem and many others did, two thousand years ago.
