Sundry Notebook Jottings

Streetlights
shine in puddles
and the puddles
shine back

*

On this grey morning
even the bricks
are chilly

*

Lilacs, how are you
awake so early
without coffee?

*

Summer loiters
around the corner
from itself

*

Sparrows
arrange themselves
on a black wire

what are they up to

*

Light in one window
of my block of flats

early traffic

Like an artist’s sketch book. Random but collectable. They’ll be of use one day.

Gotta love the jottings, so true and spontaneous.

Love it because, this is how I see the world too, I was beginning to think I was a bit odd, but, now I see, maybe lovers of words interact on a different level with the world, or maybe think a bit deeper or something, maybe journal keeping is a new idea . Thank you
