A Poe m

 

The light left off upstairs 

A snake with nooses

A choice no one may make

Who chooses 

To remain withdraws

 Country houses made of rain

And straws,

The night seeps through its lairs

Tightens and looses 

To repeat a mistake 

Seas of sleep fall awake 

Tightening a snake of nooses
