The chariot of the sun co-write with Kathy Lockhart
I wont command the
chariot of the sun
to stay, before I see
the sunset of Today
Don't bring me tomorrow
Before I see the sun
Resting between the hills
Over the hills and far away
The darkness approaching
with fear and sorrow
But the stars twinkle
spreading the light
of tomorrow
The darkness is here
to stay
Oh! My God save me
Will there be another tomorrow
when my soul is torn apart
Will there be another tomorrow
for me to stand up
stumble and fall again
Will there be another tomorrow
I anxiously wonder
till the dawn of the sun
Oh tomorrow bring me life again
for my death is surely near
Oh tomorrow bring me light again
for me to see my way
Oh tomorrow, I long for you
my hope lies only in tomorrow
The sun is rising on the
Hackberry hills
Wild horse
Let me ride you
run
through the canyons
I live yet to see
another day
Thank you Lord!
