Sometimes if not all the times dreams are sweeter than facts.

11) Yet It Was A Dream

I dreamt yes I did,
Of us happily walking through corridors and life's doors
I saw our hands attached
Like the tree's branch.
I felt our souls melting
Like the rain on mountains.
I followed our shadows to nowhere.
I screamed and spelled your name.
Yet, it was a dream just a dream,
I had the other day.

sometimes i have woken up only to burrow under the covers, try to convince the dream to come back... after dreams like that sometimes the days can be dry and even bitter...

but sometimes too, i wake up crying, thankful for reality's intrusion. a nice thinking piece :)

Its the kind of dream you wish you never wake up...
Just like this poem just couldn't help to read it twice!
Absolutely beautiful!

It reminds me of the Stylistics song "You are everything, and everything is you". I'm about to have a dream now.
