I wanted to make some changes so now it all rhymes. Tell me if that takes the effect away.

Just a Kiss (Edit to Nepenthes poem)

Our passions separated now finally together
Eyes with feeling as light as a feather
She slowly sweeps her soft cheek against mine
Unlocking passion oh so divine
Fragile fingers entwining with passion
Yet she still shows her chic fashion
A gentle brush of tender, tentative lips
Her pressing skin like a small eclipse
Long, soft fingers running through my hair
A passionate, carnal, and lovely affair
The hypnotic light entrancing me
With hopes ablaze I close my eyes
Our mouths meet, tensions rising
Long, slow, sweet, sensuous delight
This sacred feeling had me wrapped up tight
Arms around my neck, pulling me gently in
Her warm breasts pressed against my skin
I'm in ecstasy! My mind is on fire!
I've found the person of my desire
Slowly withdrawing, tracing her face
My memory of her could not be replaced
And with playful glee, I lift her in my arms
Into a feeling that was locked in charms
This was the perfect end to a perfect day
The show, now performed, was a beautiful array

This is sensuous and romantic. It flowed beautifully. I love the rhymes; they add to the overall loveliness of the poem. kathy
