A little storie about Nenya, Narya and Vilya; the only three of the Rings of Power to be made wholly outside the influence of Sauron. Their power maintained the realms of the Elves in Middle-earth until the destruction of the Ruling Ring.

The rings of Fire, Water and Air

Open sky's, echoes from the past, in the middle years of the Second Age, there was three magical rings of the Elves. The Rings of Fire, Water and Air. Nenya: The Ring of fire, borne by Galadriel. Narya: The rings of water, borne by Círdan and afterwards by Mithrandir. Vilya: The ring of air, borne by Gil-galad and afterwards by Elrond. They were made free of the influence by the One Ring of Sauron.. Their power maintained the realms of the Elves in Middle-earth until the destruction of Sauron's One Ring in the last years of the Third Age all the other Elven-rings lost their power.

Oh Galadriel, daughter of Finarfin,
wearing your ring Nenya in Lothlórien

Oh lady Galadriel, You have the power to control the fire,
to help and guidance in love, peace and war.

Oh Lady Galadriel your dearest friend, the second
of Istari, also known as Mithrandir and Gandalf the grey.

Oh Gandalf the wizard, Oh Gandalf the grey,
Who is wearing the ring Narya, the ring who rules
and controls, the water in the river, down to the bay!

Gandalf's friend Elrond, master of Rivendell,
your name tells us that you are 'Elf of the Cave',
wearing the ring Vilya, the ring who controls the air!

The rings of the Elves who controls Fire, water and air!
Use them with care and beware, don't loose them . . .

If their power comes in wrong hands . . .
There would be catastrophes . . .
who never might be repaired!
