I left the cave and the ice was gone
I could finally see the rising dawn
The haze dissipated
Seeing clearly
My dying heart was finally free
Unlocked from shackles that had no key
The feeling was tropical
Sizzling and fervent
My life had plenty to finally suffice
That was my walk through the valley of ice
