A poem about how the diamonds of the world are usually always taken. It takes a true person to find a diamond in the rough.
We try finding the jewel
With which we can go to
With which we could rule
In time people toss the jewel
In order to find
That you've acquired a new one
Left the other miles behind
We are the thieves
We all break into
The treasure trove to find
The chest worn thin
Just when we think
Misfortune has come our way
On our walk out of the cave
We see something striking yet grey
Bending down to find
It's a beautiful diamond
Its special spark
A miracle to be found in the dark
So even when you look and find
The pick of the litter has left you behind
Never give up when skies are grey
Tomorrow will always be a wonderful day
