I am again on the dark side of the moon.

Silenced Into Babel

Tumbleweeds rolling
Entangled thoughts
Swirl through a deserted mind
Winds race across the barren land
Picking up sand
Creating dirt dirvishes
That suck up more and more nothingness
Spinning beyond comprehension
All words freed from prison
Only to be desposited into an arid dust bowl
Of empty language
No life breathes in this vast dry tundra
Only noise exists
The voices of a million ideas
Screaming to take form
It is the din of damnation.
It is the hell of a lost future
It is torture.
It is madness.
It is the written word silenced into babel.
It is my mind when I cannot sculpt poetry.
It is...
Another Brick In The Wall.

This is one of the finest pieces of poetry that I have ever read ANYWHERE. It dances with truth and pain, and shares your emotions in such a quiet, saddened, and contemplative way. Exquisite, just exquisite!

Will
Gifted Words

Babel on
because
it seems
no matter
where your
mind's at
it can't
conceal
your gift
so even
if you have
no train
of thought
you stay
on track

To say
I ever
have seen
you write
"BABEL"
that's
just obsurd
what you
see as writing
babel
others
such as myself
see as
Gifted Words

In that case BABEL ON!!!!

You write better when you can't write than I write when I can!!
Anyway, I'm over here with you and I'm looking for some kudzu to climb! Once it takes hold, it can't be destroyed. It is full of dark green life, thrives on very little nourishment, and can take over a wall in little time. Lets look together!

Is just another brick in the wall!Thats right Kathy you 've spoken the right words! As I said to a friend of mine a few days ago: Break that wall girl!Demolish it!

In our conversation I told her that we all have the same goal in life : Happiness! So imagine that happiness is behind that wall. What do you do when you see the wall?

Do you curse the wall for just existing there? staggering and dwelling upon the fact that the wall is there and prevents you from reaching your destination(Happiness) [for example: Oh Wall why are you there? Damn wall!]OR do you recognize wall's existence and see it as an obsticale on your way to happiness and immediately try to find a way to overcome it and plan a strategy? One way is to demolish the wall another one is to jump over the wall and etc

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

Dear Kathy,

The great thing about being on the dark side of the moon is that you can see the stars more clearly. Aim for them, gal! You've got the fuel to reach them!
