For my friend Shannon, Part of her family passed away.
Before you want away
Words just couldn't describe
My hurt, plight, and dismay
I always looked up to her
When problems would ensue
She would hold me in her arms
Ever trusting, faithful and true
Its sad to see the ones we love
Leave our heart and soul at all
They were our blanket and safety net
When at last we'd finally fall
Even though she's no longer here
Our thoughts to never depart
No force could ever take away
The memory that resides in my heart

My life was but a paradiseBefore you want away
