for my mother

Commonsense and the Child

who ?

your sticky grief

two grains of sand
against your sleep

a breeding shadow with a rough edge
opening
like a mouth eating the s

in sun

by this time you have regained control and you throw punches
aiming for my silence

but it wasn't me

I didn't steal it

your beauty

I didn't steal it

Oh daughters this is deeply moving telling me of pain, frustration, a coming to terms really. A love given and a love desired yet maybe not fulfilled. Two grains of sand are more than enough to leave scars, rough edges, and a chaffed heart. I am giving you my love and embracing you with my spirit right now. I hope you can feel it. Your cyber mother, Kathy xxxx
